I totally surprised myself when I found myself rooting for him. I was so afraid of getting burned by him regressing that I think I held out longer than I should have. Lol.

I think what happened is that prior to reading Daisy, I'd just read another book about a rockstar, and I think I was just burned out on the topic at that time. But that was, like, 9 months ago or something now, so I think I'm ready to jump back in! 2024-01-06 21:37:54 +0000 UTCi tried sending a DM but i don't think it went through. i wanted to let you know i changed my tier to sponsor daisy, and how funny this is because for me, i tried reading the book and quit after a short while but ended up loving the series so now i'm going to go back and revisit the book! we did the same thing but backwards lol i even loved the show so much i shared it with my mom too! so while you are revisiting the show for a second chance i'll be revisiting the book at the same time for a second chance! i can definitely understand why it might be difficult to go from a book you adore to an adaptation of it though. however if after a few episodes if you're still not into it that's okay i would understand if you didn't want to continue if you felt it'd take away the magic of the book for you. i would never want something to take away the magic of a favorite book. so if you get to a point where it feels like the show is doing that, i would understand and don't want you to feel you have to finish the series at the sake of a favorite book and would understand you stopping. but that being said i do look forward to watching you revisit it. rather it's just for a few episodes or for the entire 10. i'm having to learn that "more than five minutes" rule myself lol ☺️

If you want to sponsor, you edit to the Tome tier, then edit back to Novel or Book Stack, so you only get charged once. For 10 episodes, it will be done within a month; the first episode will be posted within 5 days of when you sponsor it. I read (and loved!) the book. I talked my mom into reading it as well, and she loved it. She watched the show and said it was great. FULL DISCLOSURE: I watched the first 5 minutes and quit. That said, I've learned I need to give things more than 5 minutes to decide if I like them or not. However, I haven't revisited since I learned this lesson. I'd be happy to, though.
