I was surprised when I felt empathy for her. I figured she was just going to be a one-dimensional character who would just be around to screw up Liza's life. Lol. I know! I'm so torn on how I feel about her keeping this a secret. And what happens when/if Caitlin comes home?!? Is she gonna tell her? Or lie to her? Get her to lie for her? It's all so complicated, which makes it so much fun to watch! Right?!? It goes so quickly!

2024-01-31 15:45:00 +0000 UTCIt’s very possible to feel bad for Diana. She’s one of my favs and this episode is just the start of seeing the her under all the armor. I think because we’re so early on, Liza telling Josh would definitely be the wrong choice. Just from a story perspective because you’re right, it is fun for her to have her almost slip up moments like that “1981…when I wasn’t even alive” and her giggle when he said he loved lots of old things. That said, it’s also hard to fully root for her not telling him while potentially starting a relationship with him especially when he says stuff about loving how honest she is because so much of what she has told him is a lie. Ugh I forget just how short the episodes are every time too. It does feel more like it should be a 40-ish minute show instead of 20.
