One Tree Hill 3X6: Locked Hearts and Hand Grenades
Added 2024-03-15 23:00:06 +0000 UTCJust a heads up, I talked FOREVER after this episode ended. Sorry about that. Lol.
I'm not sure if I love or hate the fantasy draft idea. It's cute and fun, but you know it's only gonna lead to chaos.
Also, I don't know what the hell Peyton was talking about when she said to Haley that she's 'finally fighting for Nathan.' Excuse me, you have no idea what's been going on between the two of them.
Someone needs to tell Whitey (and maybe Karen too) about what's going on with Lucas. I wanted it to be Lucas, but I'll take whoever at this point.
Do we think people will be happy to see Karen throwing a chair at Dan's head? I would. It would totally make me vote for her.

I have to say, I've been very impressed with the way Nathan's been handling things. He's been respectful to Haley and genuinely tried to be as mature as possible AND think about her feelings in all of this. I don't know that I've seen a 'break up' this mature on the guys' side in all of TV. It's really nice to watch. Not to say he's perfect, but he's really trying hard.

2024-03-21 22:12:58 +0000 UTCYou might regret saying that. The rants and rambling are getting worse as we get further into the show. Lol. Peyton is having a rough time, sure, but there is zero reason for her to take it out on Haley. Big, huge, fan of this Haley/Brooke relationship. As someone who's been doing either fantasy hockey or football for the last several years, I had no idea they were popular outside sports at any time. But this was fun to watch! Ugh. Hating Chris is more difficult than hating Dan. I do hate Chris, but unlike Dan, there are a few actual good parts of his personality. So, I feel it is my duty to reluctantly point them out. Lol.

2024-03-21 22:06:09 +0000 UTCAs to what Nathan said to Peyton when she asked whether or not he wanted her to draft him. It's never really confirmed but I've always assumed he said something along the lines of "if you want to. You don't have" I just really can't imagine Nathan being like "yes Peyton please help shield me from Haley." Nathan is in a better headspace than that and also during this whole time he has never shit talked Haley and has been mostly chill about her around his friends. He's had a lot of inner turmoil and he's made that clear to Haley but he has never encouraged this behavior that Peyton is exhibiting. I also don't think that he asked her to draft him because Peyton didn't end up drafting him. If he did truly ask her to draft him then not drafting him would be a pretty shitty friend move.

2024-03-19 04:33:56 +0000 UTCExactly...the fact that we are 6 episodes into the season, soon approaching a third of the way in, and this is still going on.....is way overkill and excessive at this point. It does Peyton's character no favors, I can tell you that. If this was real life and one of your supposed friends was treating you in the shit like manner that Peyton is behaving towards Haley, no way would you continue to be friends with a person like that, which is why I will continue to say that Haley is being way too nice to her, lol. Peyton continuing to project her issues and problems onto Haley, is beyond ridiculous at this point.

2024-03-17 02:10:39 +0000 UTCIt doesn't really have anything to do with Haley either. This is all about Peyton. Haley didn't leave Peyton. She's mad at Haley for leaving Nathan like people leave her. Basically, she expects Nathan to treat Haley like she's treating Ellie. That's why she keeps inserting herself in their business. For me, her issues excuse nothing. (Everyone has issues and bad periods.) This has gone on too long. I accepted it the first epi. When Brooke, called her out on projecting her shit onto Haley, it should have stopped. She's just being mean and bitchy at this point.

2024-03-16 19:14:03 +0000 UTCI don't think Peyton's attitude towards Haley has anything to do with Nathan. It's more that she's in a bad period in her life and her and Haley were starting to become good friends, suddenly Haley goes away, so another person she ''can't'' trust in her life.

2024-03-16 04:22:04 +0000 UTCYes, your rants at the end are great!!! I so agree with all of them, hehe. Peyton and her bitchy attitude towards Haley this season is ridiculous and so uncalled for. It continues to piss me off each and every episode. She has no business getting involved in Naley's relationship, none whatsoever. It doesn't concern her, and Nathan certainly never asked her to run interference with Haley for him, so she needs to take her self-righteous attitude and shove it. And Haley is definitely way too nice to her because if it was me, she would have been slapped multiple times already and probably been stabbed with those utensils at the boy draft, lol. On the plus side, love Haley and Brooke's friendship and them growing close this season is fabulous to watch. As for the fantasy boy draft, of course nothing was going to go according to Brooke's plan, but who didn't see that one coming a mile away, lol. I'm glad you could appreciate the humor of it though, as it was very signs of the times for sure, hehe. Fantasy drafts were still a pretty novel idea at this point I believe. I think we all share your concern for Lucas at this point and it's a shame that he's putting his love for the game above his health right now. And I think we're all proud of Karen for throwing her hat into the ring with Dan and at least willing to try and go toe to toe with him, even though we all know that it won't be an easy feat to accomplish, lol. And good observation about Chris helping Haley with her music. He pushes her to go places that she otherwise would probably be afraid to go, and that only comes with experience that will take time as she's still pretty new to this whole songwriting and musical aspect of exploring her talents. And Nathan knows that which is why he was willing to call him and have him come back to town to help her. So while Chris can come across as mean an intimidating with her at times, he really does seem to want the best for her, it's whether or not he can keep his feelings in check and not cross any boundaries since he does wish she wasn't married, lol. I'm so glad you continue to love this show though, as your giddiness shines through with your reactions especially at the end when you get to recap and share your thoughts, lol. Keep it up and keep on enjoying the show.

Excuse me, you have no idea what's been going on between the two of them." Thank you, Dana! That annoyed me so much. Stay out of their marriage, especially when you don't know what's going on. It has nothing to do with her. Haley working with Chris, (among other things she's been doing) is fighting for her marriage. Haley's too nice. Idk why she's still trying w Peyton. She owes Peyton nothing. Jesus, she made a mistake, let her fucking fix it. The fact that she was going to draft Nathan to spite her, really pissed me off. 🙄 Haley thanking her for not picking Nathan? Absolutely not. She should have stabbed her w that fork and told her to mind her own business. (JK, sort of, lol) Okay, off to watch lol.
