One Tree Hill 3X11: Return to the Future

Oh, this episode was SO much better than the last one.

First of all, we got Keith back! And then he basically got taken from us immediately. We knew it was too good to be true. Fuck Dan with that smug ass face as he watched from the background. But him telling Dan that if he tried to kill him, he'd be dead, was perfect.

Rachel's got some ulterior motive here, but I don't know what it is yet.

I think they are both wrong on the birth control argument. Haley should have been like, 'heads up, BTW, since we weren't together, I stopped taking my pills. And Nathan should have been like, 'hey, you're still taking the pill, right?' Problem solved. Seems like a stupid fight that didn't need to happen. But as usual, Dan gets in Nathan's head.

I love Lucas mailing that first letter to Brooke. It's pretty swoon-worthy.

Yup. Big fan of her, 'you weren't with me on tour, so I had no need for it!'

Always happier when Nathan and Lucas are together. Right?!? I get so annoyed when everyone stops to listen to whatever bullshit he has to say. Like, just walk away!

Dana Licciardello

This is exciting! Especially since I thought it was so good up until now!

Good observations....I too like it better when Lucas and Nathan are getting along instead of adversaries, but for the sake of drama I totally get why they butt heads and go toe to toe with each other so often, especially regarding any situation with Dan. It's complicated because they both have such a different view of their relationship with him, so it works both ways I feel like. It makes sense to have them on opposing sides as well as fighting the same fight as brothers. And I too always felt like regarding Naley and their birth control fight, that it was a case of exactly like you said where they were both so caught up in the moment of just wanting to be with each other again and connect intimately, that neither one was really thinking about whether they were still protected or not. And I'm glad that Haley got the chance to tell Nathan exactly why she hadn't been on the pill while she was touring as there was no need. Nathan was out of line in trying to place the blame squarely on Haley and I'm glad she clapped back at him, lol. We all know Dan is to blame for getting in his head, but I'm glad they both came to an understanding by the episodes end. It was a realistic fight to be having, and gosh whether Naley do loving and romantic scenes, or intense angst-ridden fighting or dramatic ones.... they slay each and every one. I could literally watch them all day long, hehe :)

I think my main takeaway from the Lucas and Nathan stuff (despite whether it's right or wrong) is that they are now working together. I like them much better when they are friends. 😊 As far as Nathan and Haley, I think both of them were caught up in the moment and didn't even think about birth control, so neither thought to ask those questions at that time. Nathan didn't even think about it until Dan brought it up. Nathan really needs to learn to ignore Dan and stop letting him manipulate him.

Yes!! Getting into the one of the best parts of the series! Loving the reactions!
