If you wanted to use fur that doesn't stretch, I'd get the whole pattern and stretch it 10-15% horizontally in a photo editing software. That'd counter the amount I've shrunk it for minky. Tbh I get my short minky from Lincraft. Their minky is not as fluffy as normal but the short pile works to my benefit when doing dye sub. You can also get shorter minky from hopen textiles. If I use the short stuff I find I get little to no white showing through :D

2025-05-12 06:37:56 +0000 UTCEeee, absolutely lovely little critter! I can't wait to play with it =D A few questions though! Is this pattern designed for 15% horizontal-stretch minky? If this pattern was made using faux fur that doesn't stretch, would it need to adjusted accordingly? Also - where do you get the Minky you most prefer to sublimate on/with? I've been able to play with fabric sublimation recently, but I've discovered that using Shannon's Cuddle Solid White shows a LOT of white underneath the ink, especially when the pile is agitated in the wrong lay-direction. I absolutely ADORE the idea of drawing on the Anthro pattern and printing the character pieces directly!
