We rarely will point people to the Daily Beast (just as we rarely point people to NewsMax, but never say never - we've used both before when they get things right, or do solid research). This is a well-researched article, devoid of naked opinion or bias (there are some tidbits), and shares our conclusion when we dug in. Whatever pretense Russia had for going into Ukraine became invalid when they purposefully started targeting civilians. Any shred of legitimacy went right out the window with that act.
