Kyiv Region Analysis: In our assessment, Ukrainian forces have taken control of Irpin. The Russian troops trapped along the east bank of the Buchanka River appear to have split in a breakout attempt. NASA FIRMS shows there have not been any hotspots in the past 6 hours.

Summary Section: We stand by our assessment that Irpin has been liberated. Over the past 24 hours, the last pocket of fighting was in the Giraffe Mall area, by the remains of the Soborna Street Bridge over the Bucha River.
Kyiv Region Analysis: In our assessment, Ukrainian forces have complete control of Irpin. A video circulating on March 27 shows relative calm with sporadic artillery fire in the distance, except for one shell. There are reports that civilians who have been trapped in the city are contacting Ukrainian forces for extraction.

Reuters - The mayor of Irpin, near Kyiv, said on Monday Ukrainian forces had seized back full control of the town which has been one of the main hotspots of fighting with Russian troops near the capital.
"We have good news today - Irpin has been liberated," Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn said in a video post on Telegram. "We understand that there will be more attacks on our town and we will defend it courageously."
