Russia-Ukraine Flash Report for 6-1-22 11:45 PDT - Severodonetsk Update 2
Added 2022-06-01 19:03:16 +0000 UTCUkrainians are holding Severodonetsk after moving to preferred defensive positions. Reports are mixed but fighting has increased with reports that Russia controls 50% to 70% of the city. Ukrainians moved back to better defensible areas and where they have a clear exit route across the Siverskyi Donets.
It's getting dark in Ukraine, and we maintain that any withdrawal will happen under cover of darkness because Russia doesn't have a lot of night fighting capability.
