Russia-Ukraine Flash Report for 6-27-22 12:15 PDT - Kremenchuk Missile Strike Update
Added 2022-06-27 19:16:00 +0000 UTCReuters has confirmed the Amstor Mall in Kremenchuk was hit by two missiles, with 11 dead and 50 wounded. So far, 21 are hospitalized. The search for survivors continues in the dark, with families gathered at nearby hotel awaiting news on the missing.
According to Ukrainian officials the strike was done by Kh-22 air-to-sea cruise missiles fired by Tu-22M3 strategic bombers from Russian air space. As we reported earlier, these missiles are notoriously inaccurate.
Pro-Russian social media accounts are accusing Ukraine of firing missiles at the mall as a false flag.
This is the worst civilian mass casualty incident since the Russian Kramatorsk Railway Station missile attack on April 8. That attack killed over 50 and wounded almost 100.
