This is a catastrophe for Russia and is already out of date.

* Ukraine controls Chernobyl

* Ukraine controls Trostenyets and the Poltava highway to Sumy

* Territory east of Sumy is disputed to the Russian border

* The breakthrough south of Chernihiv likely goes further south than the map shows

We had dismissed the chatter of an offensive moving toward Mariupol from the south yesterday, but this map is reflecting that activity.

Russia would not be giving up this territory that has resulted in thousands, if not tens of thousands of casualties and hundreds of vehicles lost if they could continue to fight.

We still have a lot of questions on where some of these forces went, particularly west of Kyiv, but the data is undeniable. Ukrainian forces are liberating or can liberate large areas of Ukraine in the next 48 to 72 hours.

The Ukrainian General Staff has been communicating they know which Russian units are going where, and we're inclined to believe them. The lack of secure communications is well established and crowdsourced through open-source intelligence. If we can listen to some of the radio chatter, imagine what RIVET JOINT is sharing, along with Ukraine's own intelligence agencies.
