Russia-Ukraine SITREP for 4-10-22 19:15 PDT
Added 2022-04-11 02:23:17 +0000 UTCDue to the continued operational pause, there hasn't been any material change in Ukraine over the last 24 hours.
Heavy fighting continues in Mariupol and Ukrainian resistance appears to be cracking is the biggest story in the last 24 hours. The latest map from the British Ministry of Defense shows all territory west of Kherson (city) in dispute, aligning with what we've observed over the last 72 hours.
Russian forces are concentrating most of their firepower on civilians and civilian assets while Ukrainian forces are holding defensive lines, attacking supply lines, and probing Russian defensive lines, particularly in the Kherson Oblast.
For these reasons, and because the team desperately needs a mental health break, I've told everyone to take the day off and we won't be preparing a SITREP for Sunday, April 10, 2022.
Even if we wrote one, almost every section would be, "There wasn't any significant..."
There is a lot of economic news expected tomorrow, and the defensive situation in Mariupol appears to be deteriorating.
In the event Mariupol falls, or a true offensive starts to take Kherson back (something we continue to believe the Ukrainian General Staff is not interested in at this time) we will prepare a flash report.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
