Housekeeping - Next Week Is A Busy Week

For our new Patreons who arrived during June and early July - welcome! We deeply appreciate your support.

In early June I informed our Patreons that at some point we would do very reduced Situation Reports for 7 to 10 days as we rolled out an expansion of our coverage and the volume of content we produce.

Some of that work has already started:

• We are now producing at least one story a day on our website Malcontent News 
• We have officially hired a second writer, and we can't wait to announce who it is - she is a journalism student and an amazing TikToker and already working on her first story for us.
• We have brought on an editorial cartoonist for the website
• There has been limited TikTok production because we have been doing a lot of work in the studio - we'll be back to our normal rhythm on Sunday, and I am very excited for you to see and hear the changes
• We will start cross-posting our TikTok videos on YouTube and under 60-second content on Instagram the week of July 11
• We are back to studio shows this Tuesday on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter, and co-broadcasted on TikTok - the best experience will be on Twitch - calendar and notification up tomorrow
• We are lining up people to interview starting the week of July 18 - so our Tuesday & Thursday shows will include more than the Malcontent yapping
• We are setting up the online accounts for podcasting
• Our podcasts should start the week of July 25 - we have an amazing voice talent that will be doing this for the Situation Reports
• Hoping the radio show starts in August - still working out details
• Our first weekly Discord chat session will be Wednesday, July 13 at 4:00 PM PDT
• Private Zoom Q&A with The Malcontent will be scheduled for July shortly - stay tuned for that invite

This week, I will reach out to people who volunteered to help with technical and backend technology. A few are wondering, "How come he don't write?"

We already have a person who is going to add some ompf to the Discord server (thank you!). I know a Patreon wanted to assist with setting up the backend of the merch store (message soon), and another who offered to do the technology backend. Yes, we need to work on the website to connect some systems together to create a better user experience.

With all this going on over the next 7 to 14, we will temporarily scale back the Situation Reports from July 9 to July 16. With the ongoing operational pause, by Russia, this is a perfect time to "go slow" so we can "move fast."

I know this will disappoint some who just want the situation reports. If there is a major event, we will produce a larger written report and provide the analysis you trust. 

I appreciate your patience over the next week because many great things are getting ready to happen.
