Russia-Ukraine Flash Report 19 JUL 2022 11:30 PDT - Ukraine Setting Conditions in Kherson

Two events in the last 12 hours. Ukraine has damaged the Antonovskiy Bridge, which connects Kherson city with eastern Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims they intercepted all but one of the HIMARS rockets. However, a video released by Russian puppet Kherson Oblast governor Kirill Stremousov shows the bridge suffered at least two direct hits and a glancing blow by a third rocket.

The bridge remains serviceable but has moderate damage, including penetration through the roadbed.

In northern Kherson near Liubymivka, Ukrainian air defenses shot down a Russian fighter aircraft. Multiple reports indicate it is a Su-35. The Su-35 is based on the Su-27. Russia had 103 at the start of the war. This is the most advanced fighter airplane in the Russian inventory that is fully operational.

Ukraine continues to demonstrate they hold air dominance west of the Dnipro River and appears to be setting conditions for a larger offensive. The Antonovskiy Bridge is, arguably, the most critical Ground Line of Communication (GLOC - supply line) into the Kherson oblast.

All signs point to yes

Is it possible that Ukraine is planning a counter-offensive of Kherson? I know this post is about obvious conditions being set but is it possible Ukraine is planning a full sized counter-offensive? I know it had been mentioned the number of Russians and how many forces would be needed to launch a sizeable attack.
