Russia-Ukraine Flash Report 14 MAR 2023 11:00 PDT - Russian Su-27 Collides with USA MQ-9 Reaper
Added 2023-03-14 17:57:08 +0000 UTCThe Pentagon is reporting that a Russian Su-27 multirole fighter collided with a United States MQ-9 Reaper surveillance drone over international waters in the Black Sea. The MQ-9 suffered damage to its propulsion system, and crashed while the Su-27 landed in Crimea.
U.S. officials claim the Russian Su-27 flew intentionally close to the MQ-9 multiple times, and dumped fuel on the drone before the collision.
The condition of the Su-27 beyond the craft landed and crew are unknown.
