Added 2023-03-17 21:24:31 +0000 UTCIn January 2022, our team investigated COVID testing firms Center for COVID Control, Northshore Clinical Labs, and Lab Elite, all based in Chicago, Illinois. Our investigation was opened after our readers reached out, questioning the activities of the Center for COVID Control test locations in the Seattle area. During our research, we found a tangled web of shell companies and LLCs, interconnecting several people at four Chicago area clinical labs and one in Texas.
On February 4, 2022, we published our investigation into Lab Elite and its co-founders, Nikola Nozinic and Zishan Alvi. On February 5, 2022, we published a follow-up investigation to Lab Elite's connection to pop-up COVID testing firm Testative and its activities in Delaware. On March 2, 2022, Lab Elite was raided by the FBI and was accused of failing to provide thousands of COVID test results.
Alvi, 44, of Inverness, Chicago, was indicted on 11 federal charges and faces up to 210 years in prison if convicted. Nozinic has not been accused of any wrong doing at the time of publication.

February 5, 2022: Maryland COVID testing site run by Testative ordered closed

Feeling very validated, but not at all surprised, by this reporting - Chicago was flooded with these shady testing sites who were somehow promising quicker results than the major hospitals. A ten minute drive along any major street here would have given anybody suspicions. Hopefully they all get hit with the book. Thank you Malcontents for the excellent sleuthing!!
