Small adjustment to the war map. Russian sources are reported fighting in the area of the Atlantic Hotel, which we had coded as under Russian control and based on the map released by PMC Wagner and claims made by multiple Russian sources.
It is possible, given the nature of urban warfare, that it was under control at the time of the report. Given the new information, we've adjusted the map, moving the line of conflict 1 to 2 city blocks east.
Reports we're receiving indicate that the current lines of defense are stable, with very heavy fighting in the city center. Fighting has been described as not like Severodonetsk or Mariupol but closer to Rubizhne or Popasna, with a lot less Russian artillery and less combat potential.
