This is Report 353, which is 37 pages. (page 38 is intentionally blank)
Thank you! Did you know that you're part of the fight? Let me explain. Part of moving the podcast was pulling all of our data and analytics into a static report. What we didn't know is the location data was much more granular than we realized. Not only was data available to large metro areas, but it was down to the cities, towns, and villages around the world.
By chance, in a list of over 30,000 cities and towns, at the bottom of the report was a village name in Zaporizhzhia. That village has been under Russian occupation for over a year. So we did a quick sort of the data and discovered there are dozens of listeners in the occupied territories. People looking for the truth. The truth we couldn't deliver without your support. It is such a small piece of the puzzle, but information warfare is a pillar of the Kremlin's hybrid warfare doctrine, and you're helping us fight against it.
Thank you. Whenever we're exhausted, low, or frustrated, we'll look at that report. We do this for them.
What's the big story? The situation in Bakhmut deteriorated, particularly around Rose Alley.
The second story? It was a very quiet day in the information space, and outside of Bakhmut, Marinka, and Avdiivka - in that order - fighting was light.
