Added 2023-04-13 18:30:42 +0000 UTCAccording to Bellingcat and the New York Times, and confirmed by government officials, the admin of the Thug Shaker Central Discord server and alleged leaker of hundreds of secret and top secret documents is 21-year-old Airman First Class Jack Teixeria. Teixeria is an intelligence analyst with the 102nd Intelligence Wing of the United States Air Force located at Otis Air National Guard Base in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
The 102nd Intelligence Wing describes its mission as, "to provide worldwide precision intelligence and command and control along with trained and experienced Airmen for expeditionary combat support and homeland security."
According to the Facebook page of the 102nd, Teixeria was promoted in July 2022. Reportedly, he had access to facilities that print out classified documents for distribution.
Government officials who spoke off the record said that they've been tracking Teixeira "for some time."

After vetting, of course. 102nd was a fighter wing w/ F106s when I was a civi working there. Otis AFB was once largest Aerospace Defense Command base in the world. Kid’s dad worked in the IW for years. Bad vetting, period. Kid could have used some basic training and not commuting to moms after duty.

My first MOS we had to have one just for record keeping due to nature of the personal information collected on those records. We got the tsc midway through training. I can absolutely see that kid having access to all sorts of information. The problem is, these kids don't fully realize the dangers of their actions or the consequences thereof.

This is an act of treason against your country and fellow Americans. It is the Cardinal sin. They shoot people for this in many countries including the Russian State. One wonders!
