Are any of you artists as well?

Feel free to ask me any art-related questions or tips. Okay, I love you.

Honestly? Just some trial and error for me. I look up references, draw them, and try until I get something usable and work off of that. It's not very efficient cus it takes me very long. I'm jealous of other artists who get on their first few tries.

Brotex

Super late but how do you start to try muscle definition and other…nsfw things? I think I’m starting to plateau in progress and need to work on making characters have unique body types, thank you in advance!

Cosmic Traveler

It happens. Motivation is the biggest factor for sure. Once you get some free time and inspiration, I hope you start drawing again.

Brotex

I draw, but I’ve been in and out of it for so long that I hadn’t gotten the time or the mindset actually to sit down and practice.

solitonmedic

I believe that maintaining momentum is a challenge for most artists. Trust me, I draw a lot of trash that I don't post. When you're inspired, draw. When you're feeling uninspired, draw anyway. You don't need to push it, of course. Sometimes, taking a break, doing other hobbies, and looking at other artists helps me rediscover my motivation.

Brotex

I draw and paint occasionally, but it's been really difficult to find inspiration and consistently put anything out. I find your consistency and quality very inspiring. How do you find the motivation to keep it up?

MikiYama

Ha ha, thank ya, dude!! Might see some more later. ^3^

NegaPol

Yeah I've seen your sketches! Really cute style! Love ya man

Brotex

I draw, but mostly traditionally in my sketchbooks. Though, I've been coloring my drawings digitally after I take a picture of them. I'm not great at thinkin' of questions on the spot, so I'll leave that to the others. ^0^, Love ya too. ^3^

NegaPol

Then ye! I love recreating historic structures and objects in blender and stuff.

The Evil Plague Doctor

thx :)

I wanna do more tutorials, yes. I'm afraid anatomy is one of the most important things you should learn when you start. You have to figure out if you wanna go for a stylized or a more realistic art-style. You can afford to be less accurate and more exaggerated if you're drawing something stylized or cartoony.

Brotex

Could you continue with the tutorials? Do you think that to start with NSFW art I should study anatomy?

Kingleviit

Thanks so much for the advice I really appreciate it

Morgan

Also, anatomy is such a pain to study. But being familiar with at least the basics is worth it.

Brotex

Awesome! I’ll update you on how it goes

Morgan

Go for it. It's incredibly flattering to inspire other artists.

Brotex

Is there any chance I could borrow your style just until I figure out my own? I love it so I figured it might be best to start there

Morgan

YES. I wish I had 3D skills.

Brotex

Hey, I experienced the same thing. It was discouraging at first how poorly my first sketches are looking because I didn't know where to begin, but gradually you get the hang of it. Finding inspiration from several artists you enjoy is a good place to start. Find art styles that you feel best represent you and combine them till you discover your own. I'd love to see your first piece

Brotex

Does doing 3D historic architecture models count?

The Evil Plague Doctor

I’ve been trying to start drawing but I have no idea where to start. I know all the basics but do you have any tips for nsfw art?

Morgan
