I have rewritten this sequence several times... in the original script, it was going to have much more violece: Lucifer was going to be tender with Abdiel in bed, but then, by appointing Abdiel to the Higher Spheres, he was going to expel him from his rooms violently, yelling at him and humiliating him in front of the rest of the Morning Star angels.

This would reinforce the idea of ​​Lucifer's fear of being betrayed again, but he would become a too direct and cruel abuser, which he is not (he is more a manipulator, with subtlety, not using violence).

Besides, it was going to be just TOO MUCH. After seeing Asmodeus being beaten by Raguel in the other timeline, I decided to lower the level of angst and violence in this scene.

In the end, I think that, in this way, with a calmer but forceful and cold Lucifer, and an affected but firm Abdiel at the end, it is expressed much better as both characters are, without abusing ANGST.

Además, iba a ser simplemente DEMASIADO. Tras ver a Asmodeus siendo golpeado por Raguel en la otra linea temporal, decidió rebajar el nivel de angst y violencia de esta escena.

Al final, creo que de esta forma, con un Lucifer más calmado pero contundente y frío, y un Abdiel afectado pero firme al final, se expresa mucho mejor como son ambos personajes sin abusar del ANGST.
