This was a punishment for killing one of their own, Jenny is a member (descendant) of this clan, her only interest has been to observe Angel to see that the curse is still working, i.e. Angel is still being punished. Her birth name is Jana, which she seems to have changed to Jenny. Most importantly, neither her or her clan has any allegiance or interest with Drusilla, they are entirely separate things, with entirely separate agendas.
