New Year

The number in the corner of our screens will soon increase by one as per usual. In fact, depending on your timezone, it may even have done so already. Surely 2021 can't be worse than 2020, right? ...right?
Anyway, in mid-December, I wrote on Twitter that the next video would "hopefully be out before the end of the year." Well, it seems I was a bit too "hopeful" about that timeline. There's still a bit left to do on the next video.
It's always difficult to predict how long a project will take in advance. Some videos end up taking longer than expected. This is one of those videos. But I think it's coming along nicely and will be out soon. I can't be more specific than that.
I can say that it will be somewhat of a sequel to a previous video of mine. Namely, a 3-year-old video called Grazed by the Apocalypse. That's all I'll say for now.
I know that some of you would like a recap of 2020, similar to what I did with 2014-2017. But I think I'm done with those sorts of videos. They may be fun to watch, but they're not very fun to make.
As an alternative, Wendover Productions recently made a recap found here. I can also recommend Death to 2020 by Charlie Brooker on Netflix for a more comedic take.
One great thing did happen this year, though. The channel surpassed 4 million subscribers! That's a lot of people. Far more than I could have ever imagined when I started. Thank you all for not only watching but also supporting me on Patreon.
I will make a 4 million Q&A video as soon as I'm done with the new main video. Which, again, should be soon.

In a good 4 or so years once a new Republican golden child has come along and Trump is a bad memory, then I expect a torrent of videos detailing how he's legitimately the worst president America has ever had. Too many are way too touchy on him being mocked right now though. Some people take politics very personal. I expect we'll all be laughing at him in good time though.

Even in 2020 there have been some significant high points: -America has voted Trump out. -We've started to vaccinate people against the corona virus. -At long last, people seem to have finally stopped saying "bae". Given 2020 was an unmitigated disaster, 2021 will be better because it simply can't get any worse.
