Discord Extras {December 2021}

Welcome one and all to another Update day! I hope everyone has been having a great Holiday Season so far! ^_^

I'll be trying to make time for Art, so there is some content for you all to enjoy, next update might be a bit sparse, as is this one when it comes to number of completed projects, But that's nothing really new to any of you who've been Patrons for awhile now. ^_^

Regardless though expect some winter and holiday themed art! They will of course be posted to the Wilderness Discord Community, a soon as I complete something! ^o^

Now lets get to the art shall we?

This is a period piece I put together, featuring my 3D female cobra character model. She is still one of my favorite characters to date, the first time I managed to recreate a concept of a Anthro race as I had always imagined them to look, I've come close with others, but most of the issues have fallen on lack of realism of fur and other complexities which aren't found on hairless species. I'd say the next in the line of reaching conceptual and model perfection in realism would be my Dragons and Sharks. ^_^

This piece is also probably, one of my best renders when it comes to using colors. Part of the reason I took up the 3D medium was to explore concepts of color and vastness in scenery or even just extremely complex environments in general, which I could never achieve traditionally in a reasonable amount of time, so such things are still new ground for me and a continuous source of excitement and adventure! ^_^

This month I found a lot of very interesting things in my research for props for use in projects, and these were a product of that research. I have always been a push over for unique and interesting things! :P

The Desk and chair set was of course Used in the final page of the Cobra comic of last months update. Its based on multiple historical Campaign Desks. ^_^

The Flintlock Axe Musket, Is one of my current projects. It's design used a Historical Axe Pistol for its base, eventually I want to make it a Frontiers Man/Hunter Weapon, which will be the "Hero Weapon" for a future comic character I have in mind!

I figured out how to set DAZ to render in orthographic view through the use of custom cameras from this project too! Which will be great for any future conceptual projects!

Are just some artistic renders of familiar faces, with new clothing and hair. ^_^

This is another ongoing project for a friend and patron, very early 3D representation of one of his characters forms. The only fully completed and accurate part are the arms at this point, the rest I did just for fun using assets I made for other characters of mine and to get a little of a head start for any future work on the project!

I especially liked the pose I managed to pull off for this one too. Rarely do I make such feral creatures, so its nice to explore every now and then. ^_^
