I was thinking about the fact that the perception and reading of an image is influenced also by the way people usually read text. So depending on how you read either the previous image or this one might look like "sustaining damage and resisting" or "getting ready to attack back". [EDIT]: It's just a perception of the viewer though, not the intent of the artist.
