Reacting to my old Mario 64 Video (2015)

This time I'm taking a look at my old Square Eyed Shorty called "HYPE RUINED this Game for Me!!!" which is dramatic, but kinda true. Back when YouTube was really beginning to push for longer content and watch time was priority, a lot of us felt the desire to just have some kind of short format video that we could just chuck up on a whim with little effort. I remember Caddicarus had like 3 different examples all running simultaneously.
But anyway, this kind of predicted the whole Shorts/Reels trend all the socials have been hopping onto since Vine and now TikTok, everybody is doing it. There is nothing wrong with the format when used smartly, in fact I'd actually like Square Eyed Shorties to make a little comeback just for my quick opinions on stuff.
But anyway regarding this particular video, it was my short and immediate thoughts following my first EVER attempt at playing Mario 64 and I wasn't particularly into it as you will learn. If you make stuff, don't ever be ashamed to watch it back, even if it makes you cringe. There is always something to learn and for me, reacting to this has just shown me how much I've matured and learned to accept and understand experiences that weren't my own. Not just in regards to games but life in general!
And that is the entire foundation of making the Mario episode in the first place, as a typecast 'PlayStation guy' just as a way to maybe offer a new perspective.
