"I want to eat your pancreas!" Sakura said while looking at him. 

Haru didn't say anything and picked a piece of meat on the grilling to her plate, "Here is the pancreas."

Sakura twitched her lips, "I'm not talking about this pancreas!!!" 

"You don't want it? Let me eat it then," Haru wanted to take the meat back but this girl picked it with her chopstick and hurriedly ate the meat. 

Sakura chewed the meat while raising her hand for a while. 

Haru took a glass of water and gave it to her. 

Sakura nodded and started to drink it, "This is very good!!!" She looked very happy and moved her hands around. 

Haru and Sakura were in the BBQ restaurant together since they had made a promise before. He had learned that her pancreas wasn't working anymore and she would die soon.  He wasn't sure why she wanted to meet him but he was his ex-girlfriend's friend in the past. Even though it was kind of awkward to meet her, it would be rude to reject her invitation.

"So why do you want to eat my pancreas?" Haru asked while taking a piece of meat to his mouth. He chewed it slowly while waiting for her answer. 

"Do you want to hear it?" Sakura looked quite happy. 

"Sure," Haru nodded. 

"Then listen," Sakura tried to mimic a teacher and started to explain to him, "I saw it on the TV yesterday, in the past, if there was something wrong with your liver, you'd eat a liver, and if something was wrong with your stomach, you'd eat a stomach, apparently that was supposed to cure you of your illness." 

"Then you want to eat my pancreas to cure your illness?" Haru asked. 

"Yes, give me your pancreas!!!" Sakura nodded. 

Haru shook his head and said, "Then I'll be the one who died." 

"Eh, but will you let such a cute girl like me die?" Sakura looked at him with a pitiful expression. 

"You're asking my pancreas, similar to the way you ask for an allowance for your parents," Haru said, and added, "Also, do you want to become a cannibal?" 

"But you're the only one that I can ask for," Sakura said and added, "And I think your pancreas will be very good." 

""Here, eating this cow's pancreas is very delicious," Haru gave her another piece of meat. 

"Ah, thank you," Sakura said and realized something, "I'm not talking about this pancreas!!! But it's very delicious though." She started to eat and chewed it with a happy expression. 

Haru continued to eat until he heard her say that made him startled. 

"Do you want to eat my pancreas?" Sakura asked. 

"What?" Haru asked with a strange expression. 

"If you can't let me eat your pancreas how about you eat my pancreas?" Sakura asked. 

"Why?" Haru asked. 

"I looked up on the internet, apparently there is a foreign religion where if someone else eats you, your soul will live on inside of them," Sakura said. 

"No way," Haru shook his head. He didn't want to eat her pancreas, "Your soul will be very noisy." 

Sakura laughed very hard, "Hahahaha." She nodded, "I bet." She looked at him and asked, "By the way, did you get another girlfriend after Kyouko?" 

"What's wrong suddenly?" Haru looked at her and asked, "Did you tell her that you met me?" 

Sakura shook her head, "Of course not, there is no way that I told her that I met you in the hospital that day, I'm sure that she will be asking me what am I doing in that place, maybe she will know that I have this disease." She smiled and said, "You're the only one who knows about my condition besides my doctor and parents."

"I'm not sure how to respond to that," Haru said. 

Sakura smiled, "You don't need to do anything, I have only a limited amount of time left right now." She took something from her pocket and showed it to him. 

"Book?" Haru titled his head. 

"I'm making a list of things I want to do before dying in this book, and I'll do my favor of letting you come along," Sakura said with a happy expression. 

Haru twitched his lips, "Don't you have a boyfriend? Why don't you do it with him?" 

"Eh? But you're the only one who knows about my illness," Sakura said and added, "Don't tell me, do you have a girlfriend right now?"

Haru shook his head, "I'm still single right now." 

"So isn't that fine?" Sakura asked and added, "Also, you're pretty much free right since you don't go to school and you're pretty smart, you don't need to study that much and I'm sure you can enter your school." She pretty much wanted him to invite him along. 

Haru was wondering whether it was really fine to spend your limited time with the ex-boyfriend of her friend. He didn't really mind it though since she was pretty much an interesting girl, "I will go with you when I'm free." 

"Good, you've promised me," Sakura smiled and raised her hand, "Uncle, can you add more meat to our table, give us, hormones, pancreas, and tripe." 

"Alright!!!" 

"You sure eat a lot," Haru said.

"That is not for me, that is for you, that is my reward for you," Sakura said. 

"Your reward is meat from this all-you-can-eat BBQ?" Haru twitched his lips. 

"Isn't that fine? I only have a limited time, I'll do whatever I want!" Sakura said with a smile.

"Your boyfriend will break up with you when he knows that you're this selfish," Haru said. 

"It's fine, I have you with me," Sakura said. 

Haru looked at her and felt surprised by her confession. 

"Ah, don't misunderstand, this is not a confession, I don't like perverts," Sakura said while waving her hands. 

Haru twitched his lips and took meat from her plate. 

"Ah, don't steal my meat!!!!"
