February Zoom Update/Q+A
Added 2022-02-25 21:55:07 +0000 UTCHere is the audio from the February Zoom meeting. Please ignore me saying that it's March right at the beginning. I guess I really want spring to come. Ben and I give some updates and we take some great questions! Apologies to anyone whose question we did not get to. Maybe when we are generating more income I will spring for a Zoom Pro account or something like that because I think these things are worthwhile--especially when Light Bringers are bringing more light to the Zoom meeting.
New episode coming--hopefully tomorrow on the Black Radical Tradition and US Empire!

2022-03-03 15:58:42 +0000 UTCI don't know enough about the guy to say anything one way or the other. It might be very good. For whatever reason, I have never heard any of my go-to people say that this is a book I needed to read. And some of the author's earlier books did not appear solid to me. fwiw

2022-03-03 15:35:50 +0000 UTCI noticed the Paul Williams book didn’t come up in your discussion of Gladio reading material. Is there any reason this book should be avoided?

2022-02-27 18:46:31 +0000 UTCI am guessing that by "Soviet" he may mean he's Ukrainian--and I do understand that this situation would be terrible if you or anyone you knew were in the country.

2022-02-27 18:45:35 +0000 UTCTo Sick Dude: nothing like a supportive polemic or rant to start the day, I appreciate it. And like you, I’m not a believer in war to solve problems or someone who tolerates propaganda (US version) very well. And while I do think Russia standing up for itself, its borders, previous agreements, adhering to a few NATO protocols (Luhansk and Donetsk region recognition) and swallowing their anger for years before (1999 NATO inclusions) 2008 where they made their positions on Georgia and Ukraine quite clear, I do think there will be blowback or consequences for them. And if I’m honest, I’d prefer the Neo-Nazis of Ukraine be prosecuted, that Ukraine goes back to being a neutral buffer state (with obligation to grows its economy and repair culture) and that the US starts to really understand that a Unipolar world order is not going to happen without mass casualties everywhere - and we’ve already see this movie before. I’m reminded by Dean Wormer on this “fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life son” and I think America has been drunk with power, faced very few consequences of their behavior in a unipolar world, and are really incapable of doing what is required to be a part of an increasingly dangerous multipolar world Cheers dude

2022-02-27 12:47:36 +0000 UTCAgreed the propaganda is heavy and high tempo! I will preface this rant by saying I despise war like everyone else here. But damn! It is infuriating to watch the official news narrative! We’re moving into uncharted waters in history. God bless Russia for righteously standing up against empire to protect the citizens of Ukraine and de-nazify demilitarize it for all of humanity. 8 years of foot dragging by the US on the Minsk agreement was too long to wait while 14,000 ethnically Russian Ukrainian citizens were killed by Nazi Azov battalion for not accepting the US backed coup government that was used by the US to gain strategic advantage on the grand chessboard. There were 20,000 nato personnel in Ukraine in 2021 according to Scott Ritter and it was acting as a de facto NATO member. Putin was right when he said the US is an Empire of lies. 🎤 mic drop! Dude out!

2022-02-27 05:00:45 +0000 UTCAnd there's the nuclear angle... the US would like ring Russia entirely with enemy states with "missile defense" which really a deceptive term. Those systems are useless against any first strike. But they could defend against a second strike, i.e., they could take away Russias deterrent capability. This is the most sinister aspect of all this in my estimation.

2022-02-27 02:57:08 +0000 UTCAny other Western analysis of these events is more propaganda than fact

2022-02-27 02:07:38 +0000 UTCThere is no question that the US is responsible for this (we are using Ukraine in three ways (sell weapons, push our Allies away from Russia and LNG markets, and to mire the Russians in another Afghanistan type conflict that consumes their energies while the US tries to re-establish a unipolar world order - scared that China-Russia are now dating and could make global hegemony a threesome. That’s why this is happening now - and we’ve known the Russian response for 14 years ever since Russia swallowed the two other NATO inclusions like Poland, Romania etc - The US knows and wants Russian intervention - that is a strategic goal

2022-02-27 02:06:26 +0000 UTCAdam, Dr John Mearsheimer is probably the best voice explaining the recent history on this - Dr Good is well within this view YouTube.com/watch?v=Nbj1AR_aAcE Also, Dan Cohen and Scott Ritter get into military aspects of this, and the MSM will not publicize this (YouTube.com/watch?v=lexFtDCJNsM&t=996s )

2022-02-27 02:00:40 +0000 UTCI'd have preferred a diplomatic solution. In my estimation, the regime that the US installed in Ukraine is a threat to Russia by design. The US could have easily neutralized that threat by getting the Kiev regime to stop killing ethnic Russians in the East and promising that Ukraine would remain demilitarized and out of NATO. Instead, Zalensky was talking about getting nukes days before the invasion. So while that doesn't absolve Russia, I do believe that the US bears more responsibility for this. Abby Martin's Empire Files livestream with Brian Becker on this is very good, fwiw. Hopefully it all ends as quickly and bloodlessly as possible.

2022-02-26 21:49:28 +0000 UTCsuch pathetic commentary from you on ukraine. not everything is about the united states. what the fuck is putin offering the people of ukraine in his reply to a “threat” that apparently zelensky is provoking according to your interpretation. the govt in ukraine is not the fucking same as maidan, svoboda got 3% of vote. ukraine has a problem w far right and us support for that should fucking stop but it’s saddening you puppet the kremlin’s war justification like it’s just accepted that the zelensky govt and ukrainian democracy was a threat to russian sovereignty, fuck off right out of here with that bs. - a soviet american jew
