India is contemplating bypassing the dollar in order to allow trade between Them and Russia. 2) China and Russia made a 30 year agreement to build a pipeline routing natural gas to China. I was also reviewing this Joint statement between Russia and China from February 4th and it is not all doom and gloom either. 2022-03-05 20:56:55 +0000 UTCAppreciate this conversation - especially the importance of nuclear issues (broken treaties, NATO’s 14 new members since the fall of USSR, Zelensky’s threat about nukes, William Burns 2008 report “Nyet means Nyet” and the 2019 RAND report on Russian policy (Brzezinski 2.0) - all adds up to US provocation. As someone with a 6 year old, this kind of policy enrages me precisely because it masks the larger conversation- Aren’t we really battling for world order? 1. Unipolar world 🌍 order (US no consequences for their actions) 2. Multipolar world 🌍 order (where power is shared - US hegemony has checks on it 3. US decides it’s #1 or no world at all 💥 Thank you for the cogent conversation - few and far between - Btw I sent Dr Mearsheimer a quick email - asked for his view of the future and critique of capitalism (and will share if I get a response).
