March Zoom Update/Q+A

Here's the audio from last night's Zoom session...featuring Aaron, Ben, and Seamus. As the title suggests, we give some updates and answer listener questions!

March Zoom Update/Q+A

Comments

Two possible points of interest: > "Gangs and Countergangs" is the title of Kitson's first major published work, covering the MauMau uprising & deployment of the first countergangs. Faber periodically reissues Kitson's books; likely will continue to at least as long as he survives. "The Sun around which the moon and planets revolve " was the description given of him by one of his staff in Belfast. > Interesting to see L. H. LaRouche show up here. One of the useful things the ICLC did was detailed coverage of Kitson and John R. Rees' counterinsurgency work. aw

Let me know if you can find a pdf of it. Yes, LaRouche is strange...seems in some way to be a precursor of QAnon...

For Aaron or anyone else interested in a history of false flags and counterinsurgency doctrine going back to the British Empire in the 19th century, I can recommend a very obscure two-volume history by an Australian writer named Don Veitch entitled "Gangs, Counter-Gangs and Other Political Crimes." It covers an impressive amount of ground from Cecil Rhodes to Frank Kitson, dirty tricks against Australian indigenous activists and the Irish, the deep strangeness of Lyndon LaRouche and his compatriot Roy Frankhauser, and much more. Copies are hard to come by for sale online but I would recommend tracking it down if one can.

Bong Bong

I write about it in American Exception. I haven't decided the best way to try and put stuff from the book into the podcast yet, but I definitely want to do something on Safari Club/BCCI material...

Aaron Good

Aaron, Ben, would y’all be interested in doing an episode on the Safari Club (or, alternately, recommend a good book or article)? I’d like to understand how it fits into the larger picture of late Cold War/post-Cold War deep state machinations…

Fell asleep in my chair and missed this :/

NYCM&AHole

They did a whole lot of research that did not come directly from the diary so I am sure that there are many interesting things in the book...

Aaron Good

Great answer on the Lafitte diary. I am really enjoying the book. But its best to remain skeptical when you get a singular peice of evidence that just wraps everything up in bow like that. I probably still recommend reading it all things considered.
