I don't recall him putting it in exactly those terms, but he does couch certain things in ways that I would not. I personally avoid what many seem to regard as the mandatory perfunctory duty to always issue disavowals of Putin/Russia. But I still think this was a worthwhile discussion. I don't need to badger people on every point upon which we might disagree. I'd rather have a better conversation and cover as much of what seems important as we can. Obviously, I take an even more critical stance toward NATO and the US empire than anyone who writes for Jacobin. Yet even someone like Branko is too out there for corporate media or even, say, Democracy Now, by and large.

I stand corrected. Bruno's view of Putin as an insane criminal dictator who's nothing but a front man for evil oligarchs is so fresh and different.

This isn't something I often say, but you might want to watch a little CNN and MSNBC.

Aaron Good

Very disappointing. This guy sounds like he was between stops at CNN and MSNBC -- one dumb anti-Putin charge after another. And the host failed to challenge BM's assumptions.

I just unlocked it. You can share the patreon link...

Very interesting interview - starting to really feel truth seeking journalists, how much they are in a bind - finding a way to communicate and pierce through dense propaganda and always having to watch their tone, temperament for they could be black listed very easily. (Abby Martin, Chris Hedges etc) This makes me grateful for this podcast! Nice Chalmers Johnson pull!

Great episode Dr. Good but as someone who is study in great detail the French Revolution of 1789 in particular the Jacobin period it is pronounced ja·kuh·bn

The Patreon pitch at the end makes me think that this great episode is unlocked, but don't see it on Soundcloud, yet. Looking forward to sharing it around.
