Episode 49: Minding the Darkness, Minding the Light w/Peter Dale Scott (Part 10)

In this installment of Minding the Darkness, Minding the Light, our oral history series with Professor Peter Dale Scott, Peter talks with Ben Howard and me about some legendary figures in the history of American parapolitical research—namely: William Turner, Mae Brussell, and Colonel L. Fletcher Prouty. From there, we start to get into Jack Ruby and the gray alliance, as well as Watergate!

Peter Dale Scott is the prolific poet, historian, and political theorist who gave us parapolitics as well as the deep politics approach.

Peter is an international treasure.

My goodness, this series is so good. It’s kind of blowing my mind.

You have to have Dave Emory on, his 'guns of November' series is eye opening, not to mention his other 'radio free America' series on RFK, MLK, the Arayan Nations and Edwin Wilson

nm, Bobbs-Merrill, got it

Luke

Hey Aaron, would you mind typing out the name of the book publishing friend of William Harvey's which sounded like Bob Zmeril?

Luke

Yes, the deep state aversion is weird, even given Trump. Everybody knows that the next election won't change anything--which points to a permanent governing apparatus. So whether you say "Establishment" or "secret government" or 'deep state' you are definitely acknowledging something real that belies what people are taught in school or through the media.

Dave Emery 2 years ago was how I found out about all of this. I had really gotten susicious after the Iraq War deceptions. Dave Emory always mention PDS with some superlative... "the great..." so I picked up his book called tge deep state. Before that, I remember an argument I had with my friends about the existence of the deep state, but noone believed me. Two years later, I shared with the same friends PDS's title 'The American Deep State.' I found out on his website that it is his own best recommendations of his own works. I have now been somewhat ostracized from the old crew but its fine.

Towards the end of the discussion...we talk about the gray alliance and Ruby and such, then we start to get into Watergate...

Aaron Good

I love PDS. But where is Watergate? And congrats on the book!
