You guys should def do separate commentary videos on episodes that really speak to you I would def watch that. There will be plenty of oppurtunities to in season two. Season two of Vinaland saga is a 10/10 master piece in character writing.

In history it’s unknown how the real Thorfinn got it, but in Vinland Saga’s world it’s likely something recently given after his duels with Thorkell. According to Wikipedia (but please don’t look it up yourselves if you haven’t already as it will spoil future arcs, as of course this Thorfinn is very LOOSELY based on the historical Thorfinn, which we know little to nothing about in his early life so he was the perfect historical character to make an MC that would allow for creative freedom from Yukimura, but there are a few notable points recorded in historically recorded that Yukimura does include moving forward) it means: -makings of a man -a thorough man -a sterling man -a real man Tl;Dr It’s cool nickname given to Thorfinn. Don’t look up his Wikipedia page.
