Added 2020-02-06 10:11:06 +0000 UTCI did alter the last few panels back to something more like my original versions after all. I wasn't altering what was going to happen, but the pacing, which sometimes requires you to remove things to keep things moving.
In the end, I decided to keep Proton's comments. I figure both his powers are still growing, and he hasn't gone all-out yet. He probably saw any B-Class hero as someone he couldn't fight evenly with.
