Great analogy! And you make a good point about Nedβs perspective, unfortunately Ned didnβt understand Jamieβs standards werenβt that high, and alot of people needed to be in danger before he pulled a move like that

2022-07-24 22:45:07 +0000 UTCGreat reaction . Kings-guards are supposed to die defending their King, thats why Jamie was despised for breaking his oath. An analogy is like the secret service killing the President during revolution. On the other-hand , the reason why Ned despised Jamie is not because he killed the mad king but that he only acted when it was opportune for him, not because of altruistic reasons. He expected him to act when he burnt his father and brother alive if he was altruistic or die defending the Mad King if was loyal.
