Thanks so much for bringing this up! We have to provide commentary throughout the reaction to fall more under fair use and we’re trying to work on talking at “the right time” but sometimes we make a mistake and talk over important dialogue like that so thank you for clarifying! And yeah that’s very brutal, alittle more understandable if they were doing it willingly but those who weren’t, oh man.

The women having their hair cut and clothes stripped off in that Dutch town were Dutch not German and had slept with the German Soldiers. The Resistance guy explained it to Winters. He also said the men who collaborated were being shot so the women were lucky. Very brutal but people had been under German occupation for 4 years and the Germans brutalized them so the locals had resentment against anyone who was friendly to the German occupiers. This happened in a lot places in Europe like France, etc. when the Germans were pushed out. Don't know if they slept with the Germans willingly some may have or some may not have. Some may have done it for survival.....
