[EARLY ACCESS] The Abyss (Special Edition) Reaction YT Cut

I watched this is movie theaters when it was released in 1989. All mention of war, the tv replays of violence, the tsunami waves are not in the original theatrical version; and then some. This Special Edition makes it a completely different movie (and a lot better).

Going places don't really bother me. I wouldn't mind travelling to countries but I got my 2 doggies to think about and I would never leave them. Where ever I go, they come with me lol. Things have changed dramatically in my life so I just like the comfort of my own home. I know, I'm extremely boring 🫠 x

Oh I think you'd be alright. I wasn't always with Allegiant. This is my later gig in life. I flew for Northwest Airlines and we were a major carrier that was huge in the Pacific so my very first ever flight as a flight attendant was to Osaka, Japan. I've criss crossed the Pacific more times than I can count and I was just fine and I'm pretty claustrophobic. I think you'd do great! Go across the country and see how it goes. Pick an aisle seat. It helps a lot.

I know exactly what you mean Melissa, I'm not good with small spaces and submarines would scare the crap out of me cos there is nowhere to go. I've never done long distance on a plane before so I don't know how I would feel about that. This film is wild and it should get more praise from viewers really cos you never hear people talk about it. I do believe in aliens tho, we are not the only ones out there....The truth is out there 😂 I think The X Files, The Outer Limits and Tales From The Crypt would be great for Cam & Zay 😊 x

That was such a great movie! Liquid Breathing is a real thing! It's been used for premature babies and humans with ARDS. Isn't that wild? Found an interesting article on it. I'm like, Zay. I don't think my claustrophobia would allow me to go under the Ocean but, of course, I'm okay 30,000 feet in the air. Go figure. Anxiety is a tricky card. I'm not a fan of the Ocean as far as getting in it. Beautiful to look at though. Great reaction to a great movie, guys. A cross between Close Encounters of the Third Kind & The Hunt for Red October!

This is one heck of a great film! So underrated - it should get more respect! Watched it as a kid and always loved it. I'm so glad you guys watched the Special edition, you see and understand it more. The breathing liquid for the rat was real and 6 rats were used, they all survived. Ed Harris (Bud) did have the liquid in his helmet but he didn't breathe it in. You gotta feel for poor Ed Harris cos he hates bringing up this film as he nearly drowned a few times. Must've been absolutely terrifying! But he should be proud as this was an amazing film and he done an excellent job! I do love Michael Biehn's character as Coffey - he was more scared than anything. Its a shame he went insane. The alien scene where it drags Bud across the ship of lights reminds me of 2001 A Space Odyessey. "You are now an exhibit" "Welcome to our museum" 😂😂 that cracked me up!! You prob never spotted it, but when you see the giant wave on the beach and everyone is running away...you see a dude pulling down another dudes shorts in the bottom left corner 😂 I'm glad you guys loved it tho ❤️
