Also in the book Annie doesn’t use a sledge hammer. She actually chops off his feet with an axe. Then uses a blow torch to cauterize the wound. So glad Directee Rob Reiner changed it.

2023-01-19 12:00:38 +0000 UTCThank you guys. Misery is in my top 5 scary films. Annie (Kathy) how she changes from sweet, depressed, crazed is terrifying. Paul Sheldon (Caan) doesn't even need to say much as he says it all non-verbally in his acting. I think it's also scary because it's rather realitic , doesn't need CGI or puppet monsters
