2023-08-02 11:10:25 +0000 UTCThe sequels aren’t worth reacting to. The second one is ok the rest are bad. This was filmed on Martha’s Vineyard so I always assumed it was supposed to be Massachusetts. The original Amityville Horror is a must watch. The guy who played the Mayor is in that as well. If you haven’t seen it. Spielbergs next film Close Encounters of the Third Kind reteams him with Richard Dreyfus and is another classic.
