Rewatched this reaction again. But this time I watched the full-length version. MUCH BETTER. Understood a lot more of the puns and context of what you guys were talking about. LOL... Anyway, Cam, I heard you mentioned The Highlander at the very beginning of the movie and you wondered if it's a movie. Yes, it is. The Highlander is a movie that came out in 1986 and starring Christopher Lambert and Sean Connery. It's a fantasy action-adventure type of film. I highly recommend it!

Wow thanks for the information! And would have been fun to wear kilts but we recorded the reaction before we saw that idea!!

Thanks for watching this one, you guys never disappoint😊Historically this film got some things right, but supposedly took artistic liberty with quite a few things. I’m a history nerd but I love the movie so much I don’t care. One thing they got wrong is William’s Father and brother dying when he was little. His brother John Wallace lived long enough to be married twice and had three sons. (We are related to his line through my Dad’s Mom) His brother John was actually drawn quartered and beheaded at the Tower of London around 1306-(one year after William) He most likely took part in the rebellion as well. Wallace is a common middle name given to sons on that side of our family. The death scene was accurate except that they left out the part where William was dragged behind horses for 5 miles or so. (When they were cutting him, he was disemboweled, castrated, and his heart, lungs, and other organs were torn out.) Sadly, there’s no evidence that the Princess ever got impregnated by William. It IS however historically accurate that Wallace was a true warrior, patriot, and brilliant strategist who refused to kiss tyranny’s arse. The acting in the movie was awesome, (young William was amazing!)-the fight scenes were EXTREMELY satisfying, the weapons were dope as hell, and the score and scenery beyond beautiful. Great react! But how come you guys didn’t wear kilts? PS…Speaking of Patriots…I hope “The Patriot”-also starring Mel, is on your list. I bet Zay’s Dad is a fan of that one!

I’m sorry to tell you this, but this movie is pretty much fiction, it is considered to be one of the least historically accurate movie’s ever made. Having said that, it was a great film.
