I dont have super strict tastes, so I still enjoy this for the fact that its easy music to listen to and I can play it around my wife, a notorious hater of what I listen to. With that said, it feels like it was created in a lab. Some of the lyrics have a bit of depth, but there is absolutely nothing in this album that comes even close to Color Decay. The riffs are barely there, the emotional lyricism is extremely shallow, and MIKE is barely there. I am not really counting his harmonies with Jeremy as what I want, which is Mike by himself screaming at me. That happened, what, twice in the album? Overall, a massive step down from their previous work, coming from a huge fan of the band.
