1. My rough layout sketch for this page ended up being pretty spot on, I didn't change anything, really. Here's what my written script looks like for this page:

2. pencils! It's a pretty 'simple' page so I tried to make sure their faces looked good :0

4. flats -- since there was no drawn backgrounds on this page, I wasn't totally sure what I wanted to do with background colors, so I started by just doing the characters first.

5. Shading on characters

6. Added the background colors -- Decided on the top and bottom panels being more environmental colors (the blues in the literal room), and the middle panels being more emotional colors.

7. Final touches - coloring lineart, and added some overlays to make the colors on this page more interesting (the purpley-red on the first and last panels)
