[process] Theurgy pt2 pg2

Hiya, here's the process for this page / scene:

1. layout sketch on paper! Honestly had a hard time getting back into thinking in comic visuals haha

2. digital sketch -- I'm using Clip Studio Paint for this portion now, just because I like using my ipad -- the brush I've been using is called "perfect pencil" in the CSP assets 'store'.

3. aand back to photoshop for clean inks-- the brush I use for inking Theurgy is "mr natural brush" made by Kyle T Webster, so if you have photoshop CC, you have access to it for free

4. Flat colors!

5. shading -- I've made some changes to how I do the shading to try to make coloring go a bit faster, but hopefully they're not actually noticeable! Basically I'm just using less layers so I don't have to split everything up so much.

6. adjustments and lighting! Includes an overlay layer with some light yellow/orange for the lighting, as well as a layer on mode "soft light" for the same purpose, and then a purplish overlay gradient on each panel as an extra bit of shading.
