1. Layout sketch, done on paper, just rough outline of the composition for the page
2. Pencil sketch, done in CSP - I try to do most of the 'work' on this step so that inking goes a bit smoother
3. Inking, done in Photoshop
4. Flat colors, picked from previous pages
5. +shading layer, which in this scene is done with a dark blue color on multiply
6. Color adjustments, including:
- Overlay layer with a purple gradient from the bottom of panels
- Overlay layer with an orange gradient from the top/left of panels
- Screen layer with a light yellow from same direction as ^
- Solid orange Overlay layer on really low opacity (literally 3% rn) to add a bit more warmth to the scene as they talk
The goal of these layers overall being to make the page colors feel a bit more cohesive and to add a feeling of warmth as the scene progresses
