そういえば、迷惑メールで税務署を名乗る詐欺メールが来ることがありますがそのたびに、日本の税務署はそんなに親切じゃないぞ、と思います。
I have finished filing my tax return. I paid consumption tax along with income tax. I hope my documents are complete.
Speaking of which, every time I receive a spam mail claiming to be from the tax office, I think to myself that the real tax office in Japan is not so nice as to bother to send me an email....

Having to pay back the taxes is a big challenge. I'm lucky I get a refund instead of being charged, but that will probably change if my art starts becoming profitable.
