Kill Team in Progress!

To keep a healthy pace going, I can't record every project. But for that we have a route to still share the work, a blog post.

This is the last commission I have hanging out. A friend of mine who is new to this hobby has been going down the kitbashing rabbit hole and when he asked me to paint his modified kill team, I said "Sure dude ".

I'm not sure what army these will stand in for but as the painter of the hues, I don't need to worry, just bring those bots to life.

The model pictured above was the first one and is the product of me figuring out the recipe. There are still 8 more of these to get through.

I base coated them with black and then an overspray of Tamiya spray paint, it comes out much finer than a big boy rattle can and the but of roughness I do get is a good source of character. Then an oil wash after picking out some details in metal, german gray, and deep sea blue.

There are also some heavies in here that buddy John only built for display. He also left them off the base as they can stand on their own three feet, or two.

The ambots still need a good oil wash and I ended up deviating from the scheme on the more demonic looking troops.

I'm still clipping along on these but wanted to share a bit of progress in hopes it inspires and motivates you, fellow wizard.

Also don't forget this Saturday at 10am Central well be having a paint jam on Discord. I'll be there right on time and we'll go for a couple hours at minimum, hope to see you there!
