Heading to Vinceycon 2023!

When this goes live I'll be airborne, heading to the gathering known as Vinceycon!

What began as a paint jam has progressed to a yearly meet up at Vince's in December. We always have a theme in mind, in the past creating pieces that all belong together to form a larger scene or and that one where we prepped for Adepticon. So here we go!

This time around we've chose to do a figure study. Each person attending submitted a potential model and then we put it to a vote. Vince wins! A big thank you to Big Child Creatives for supplying these busts of their character Alaana. On a down note, Scott the miniature maniac can't make it this time, as you can imagine he's a busy guy. We shall light a candle in you honor, my friend.

This year we'll have Ninjon, Vince, and Ben Kantor, and myself, putting our takes on this model. I'm very excited to get into the discussions that this will bring. For my copy I'm going with a somewhat limited pallet, I'd like a primarily red and black feel to my scheme. But time will tell, there are a lot of fun materials to work with and some yellow and greens will add to the sun bleached feel.

I'll be sure to document the happenings as things unfold. The world famous Uncle Atom will also be joining us and we'll be rolling some dice and having the good times we have when old friends get together.
