I've been I'm a building mood lately. As I've been working on Rahel, other projects have been prepping up.
First, I was given the Warhammer+ Warboss model by my friend, Chris. Thanks, Chris!
Orks are my happy place. I built this up to be a Blood Axe Warboss and having completed it, I plan on making a Warboss for each clan. Orktober comes once a year after all.
My original plan was to paint this on Twitch but I like it so much I might make a tutorial series on him. Still thinking on that. It's been a while since I've created an Orky tutorial. Takes me back to the early days when I painted up Ghazghkull for an earlier Patreon series.
I've also been building up this chaotic slice of reality. A new champion of the gate arises amidst the tides of the realm wars.
I've had this one in my head for a while and finally the right model came to mind. Behind the model I'll paint a back drop of hovering stairways, probably with some meteorites crashing through. I can also attach some stones to the backdrop itself to create a levitating effect, as if the ground he stands on is assembling or coming apart. How positively chaotic!
It's a very gradual process. Sculpting takes patience as I need to wait for each level to dry before adding another, almost there.
Both of these are going to be a lot of fun and we will have much to learn from them.
