Hello everyone!

It's time for our next backlog rerelease that is being generously funded by our awesome patrons. This week, we're rereleasing the Phoenix Loop. This stunning band emblazoned with a burning Phoenix will let you rise again should your face the unthinkable.

A look back from Matthew:

This was the first legendary item that we developed and I remember looking at it wondering if I made it too powerful. In the end, I might have but you know it's a single use and I am a big fan of cool character moments that would allow something like this to work.

I really love the idea of a ring that you can't remove once you put it on. Something about that imagery of you feeling you've just made an inescapable choice is fascinating. Once you lock this onto your finger, you have made the choice and you now WILL come back. That kind of character moment even when you first find the item can be so intriguing to explore.

This item received a lot of praise when it was launched and I remember feeling like we made something that people actually truly loved, but was also very powerful. I've heard of a number of people that have put it in their games and that just brought me unending joy.

Maybe you'll want to include one in your campaign with this new format.

We're so excited to continue working through our backlog of items. There's so many good trips down memory lane to come and I really want to share all of those with you. I often remember a lot more about the item when I get to write these posts so it's amazing to me to revisit them.
