Roksja's Husk (Rerelease)

Hello everyone!

It's time for our next backlog rerelease that is being generously funded by our awesome patrons. This week, we're rereleasing the Roksja's Husk. This chest piece is imbued with the power of a legendary basilisk and crafted from its hide.

A look back from Matthew:

The very first chest piece we ever made and I have to say I'm still remarkably proud of it. This is one of Fernando's favorite illustrations as well. The fact that he basically had to do a full character design really sold it for him I think.

I remember struggling a lot to get the petrification mechanic to feel right. I knew it had to be a less powerful version of the basilisk's own ability, but I needed it to still feel reasonably powerful for the user.

Striking a balance between usability and the desire to just straight up make something OP and cool is always a task, but it's one that I rather enjoy. This one did get quite a friendly reception when we released it and I have to think it's due to the amount of care we put into these.

We're so excited to continue working through our backlog of items. There's so many good trips down memory lane to come and I really want to share all of those with you. I often remember a lot more about the item when I get to write these posts so it's amazing to me to revisit them.
