A Quick Life Update

Hey Adventurers,

We wanted to send out an update to give you a heads up about something that came up this week.  As of last week Fernando (Our Illustrator) had a health issue that required emergency spinal surgery earlier today (September 25th). Now, I realize that sounds scary, but rest assured he was in great hands for it. 

I'm happy to report that as of now, he's home, comfortable, and on the road to recovery as the surgery was a complete success. He'll be working towards getting better and recovering for a few days and a full recovery in 6-8 weeks. The great news is that it shouldn't interrupt too much of our schedule here as he'll be back to doing art in a few days, but it will have some impacts as follows: 

• The item for this week may release a few days late. We're going to do our best to minimize this, but that's just the nature of recovery.
• The "One More Thing" for this month may be very late or get bumped out in favor of catching up for next month.
• The update to our Kompendium and Foundry module will not be affected. We're going to be able to keep that rolling.

We've always considered our items to be the most important thing here. That's what we're based on and that's what we guarantee. The "One More Thing" releases are great bonuses, but we would rather focus on making sure that we keep our item release schedule and let Fernando recover properly instead of overworking him. AB is a passion project for us and we love it dearly, but health comes first. 

We're extremely excited for October right around the corner and we have some absolute bangers lined up for our spooky releases. Fernando and I look forward to this season all year and we're so excited to bring you even more content this year. We can't thank you enough for the support you all have shown us and I hope for your patience as Fernando gets back on track. (Get it? Back on track... Sorry...)
